Abstract (Conduit) Paintings: Kyle Haight considers his abstracted work to be a deeply integrated extension of the earths energy. He is merely a conduit for the energy of a given place and time being filtered into visual representations of a moment in time. Whether in the studio or at live musical settings Haight’s can seemingly filter the moment into something visually recognizable. Spiritual moments and visionary states of awareness are filtered through Haight’s brushes and have become a series of abstractions he has coined as “Conduit Paintings”. Kyle believes he is merely a conduit for the energy in the room or at a gathering and has developed a unique way of capturing something intangible into a visual record.
